2. Fruit smoothies – These are great any morning, most particularly during hot days. You’ll need to blend the ingredients altogether in the morning, but you can prep them at night. Cube the fruits and keep them in a container. Use a cup of plain yogurt, add cubes of ice, a bit of water or milk, and blend.
3. Egg sandwich – Cooke the eggs the night before and place them in a sealed container. In the morning, warm the eggs in the oven. You may also add some shredded veggies or cheese and serve on toasted wheat bread. The night before, place a pair of bread slices into a Ziploc bag — one for every family member. They may toast their bread upon waking up and put the sandwich in the bag for easy transport.
4. Yogurt with granola and fruit – Some people love yogurt. But, yogurt alone won’t sustain your fullness for long. Add some granola and a few berries to the mixture. This makes a great breakfast idea during those mornings when you are running late. Keep small bags of berries and granola in the refrigerator beside the yogurt so you can just grab them and head out.
