How to Make Egg Pudding Without Oven

Egg pudding is one of the most liked desserts of all time besides eing easy to make its light and delicious and favourite of young and adults both. But some people have problem in maiking it as not every body has an oven here is a easy to follow recipe to make egg pudding with out oven.

INGREDIENTS:

For caramel

Sugar: 3tbs

Water: 2tbs

For Pudding

Eggs: 4 (medium)

Milk: 1/2 litre/2 cups

Sugar: to taste/3tbs

For caramel

Sugar: 3tbs

Water: 2tbs

For Pudding

Eggs: 4 (medium)

Milk: 1/2 litre/2 cups

Sugar: to taste/3tbs

Vanilla essence: 3 drops

METHOD:

For caramel

1. In a pan put 3tbs sugar and 2tbs water stir continously till golden brown. Do it on low flame to avoid burnig sugar.

2. Pour the caramel in the bowl in which you will set your pudding and keep it aside to cool.

For pudding

1. Take a bowl and mix 4 eggs, 3tbs sugar and 1/2  litre milk and mix together add few drops of vanila essence and beat the mixture till it is homogenized.

It apporximately takes 5-10 minutes

2. Pour the mixture in the bowl in which you have poured the caramel.

Cooking:

For cooking we will use stove instead of oven. You can use your daily use utensils or a pressure cooker. I used a rice cooker with a steamer and it worked perfect.

2. Cover the mixture bowl with a lid or aluminium foil. And keep it on the stand.

3. Turn on the stove and let it cook for 30mins.

4. Check it with a tooth pick if its done, insert the tooth pick in its centre if it comes clean it means its cooked.

5. Turn off the stove and let the steam evaporate and be careful dont burn your hand.

6. Let it cool at room tempreture then keep in fridge to chill

7. Delicious egg pudding is ready, Serve with cream, nuts or eat as it is
